Reputation management in GoHighLevel

Every GoHighLevel plan includes reputation management: review requests by text, email or WhatsApp, monitoring across 52 or more review sites, website review widgets, and AI replies at $0.01 each. For a local business, the useful part is that review requests go out automatically once a job is done, rather than depending on somebody remembering to ask.

Research-led reviewThe author has not used this product. Built from public sources. What this means

The author has not used this product. Everything here comes from six public sources: the maker's own site, its pricing and refund terms, its changelog, its support forum, counted complaints across recent public reviews, and a like-for-like comparison against the nearest alternatives. We never claim experience we do not have.

Which badge a page carries is enforced in the site build, not just in editing. A page cannot use first-hand language unless it has declared itself a real-use review, so the badge and the writing cannot drift apart. The full method

We earn a commission if you buy through links on this page, at no extra cost to you.How this works

You pay exactly what you would pay going direct. The maker pays us a share of their margin, not a surcharge on you.

We are never paid for a positive verdict, no maker sees a review before it publishes, and we publish verdicts recommending against products we could earn from. Commission rates never influence which products we cover or how we rank them. Full disclosure

Independent comparison. We are an affiliate of some platforms named here. We do not speak for HighLevel, Birdeye or Podium, and nothing on this page is an official statement by any of them. Figures come from each maker's own published pages on the date shown, and we correct them when they change.

The short version

  • Included on the $97 plan. Birdeye and Podium do not publish prices at all.
  • Review requests fire from a workflow, so nobody has to remember to ask.
  • Generating AI reply drafts is free. Each AI-written reply you send costs $0.01 on pay per use.
  • Listings management is the one paid extra, at $30 a month per sub-account.

What you get

Reputation tools, from HighLevel's help centre, checked 29 September 2026
Detail
Included onEvery plan. "Online reputation management" is in the core feature list
Review requests bySMS, email and WhatsApp, with a fallback if a contact lacks the chosen channel
Automated requestsA review request action in workflows, so it can follow a paid invoice or a finished job
BalancingSplits requests between Google and Facebook
Monitoring52 or more review platforms, including Google, Facebook, Yelp, Trustpilot and TripAdvisor
Replying from insideDocumented for Google and Facebook reviews
Website widgetsSeven layouts, including grid, carousel and slider, plus a floating badge
Competitor viewCompares you with up to three competitors

One distinction worth keeping straight: monitoring covers 52 or more platforms, but the documented replying and request balancing are for Google and Facebook. For most local businesses, those two are where the reviews that bring in calls actually live.

Getting more reviews

The review request action in a workflow makes asking automatic: when an invoice is paid, an appointment is marked complete or a job moves to done in the pipeline, a request goes out by text with the review link in it.

Text is the channel to lead with. A request by email waits in an inbox, while a text arrives when the customer is still thinking about the job. Each text bills from the wallet at the rates on the phone system page, and that is the only running cost of asking.

Do not filter who gets asked by how happy they seemed. Google's review policies prohibit selectively soliciting positive reviews, so send the same request to every customer.

Replying with Reviews AI

Reviews AI modes, and cost from HighLevel's AI pricing article, updated 28 September 2026
ModeWhat it doesCost
SuggestiveUp to four suggested replies per review, and a person chooses what to sendFree to generate. $0.01 when you send one, unless on AI Employee
Auto-pilotReplies on its own, by star rating and wait time rules you set$0.01 per reply sent, or included on AI Employee

Replying to every review is good practice and dull work, which is why it slips. Start with Suggestive mode, where drafts are free to generate and a person decides what goes out, and use it for a few weeks. Once you trust them for five star reviews, set Auto-pilot to handle those and keep negative reviews for a person. The rules are set by star rating, so that split is easy to build.

The AI Employee plans that make Reviews AI unlimited are covered on the AI pricing page. At $0.01 a reply, most single businesses will never spend enough on Reviews AI alone to justify one.

Listings, the paid add-on

Listings management pricing, from HighLevel's pricing guide, updated 22 August 2026
BillingPrice
Monthly$30 a month per sub-account
Six months$150
Annual$300 a year

Listings management pushes a business's name, address and phone number to more than 70 directory sites and keeps them consistent. It is the one part of reputation management that is not in the plan. For an agency, it is also an easy line to resell to clients.

Against Birdeye and Podium

Quote onlyis how both Birdeye and Podium price. Neither publishes a figure on its pricing page, so you cannot compare costs without speaking to their sales teams.birdeye.com/pricing and podium.com/pricing, checked 29 September 2026

Both are established review platforms, and a multi-location brand with a marketing team may want what their sales teams offer. For a local business, the case for GoHighLevel is that review requests, replies, the CRM and the text messaging are in one account on a published $97 price. The pricing page shows what that plan costs with usage, the GoHighLevel review covers the platform as a whole, and the alternatives page covers other all-in-one tools.

Review requests are on every plan

Build one workflow on the trial that texts a review request when an appointment is marked complete. It is a short workflow to build, and it runs on every job after that.

Common questions

Does GoHighLevel have reputation management?

Yes. "Online reputation management" is in the core feature list on HighLevel’s pricing page, so all three plans include it, the $97 Starter plan too. It covers review requests, review monitoring, replies, website review widgets and competitor comparison.

Can GoHighLevel send review requests automatically?

Yes. A review request action in workflows sends one by SMS, email or WhatsApp after an event you choose, such as a paid invoice or a completed appointment. If a contact lacks the chosen channel, it falls back to another.

Which review sites does GoHighLevel support?

HighLevel says it monitors 52 or more review platforms, including Google, Facebook, Yelp, Trustpilot and TripAdvisor. Replying from inside HighLevel and review request balancing are documented for Google and Facebook.

How much does GoHighLevel Reviews AI cost?

Generating suggestions is free, with up to four drafts per review. Any AI-written reply you send costs $0.01 on pay per use, whether you picked it in Suggestive mode or Auto-pilot sent it, and is included on the AI Employee Growth and Unlimited plans.

How much are GoHighLevel listings?

Listings management is a paid add-on at $30 a month per sub-account, $150 for six months or $300 a year. It keeps a business’s details consistent across more than 70 directory sites.

Is GoHighLevel a replacement for Birdeye or Podium?

For review requests, monitoring and replies, largely yes, and it is included in the plan rather than priced separately. Neither Birdeye nor Podium publishes prices, so a direct cost comparison means getting a quote from each.
