GoHighLevel integrations

The native list is shorter than the marketing implies: Stripe, Facebook, Google, TikTok, Shopify, QuickBooks, Gmail, Outlook, Zoom and a handful of others. That is deliberate rather than a gap, because the platform is designed to replace the tools you would otherwise integrate with. Anything not on the list goes through Zapier, webhooks or the v2 API.

Research-led reviewThe author has not used this product. Built from public sources. What this means

The author has not used this product. Everything here comes from six public sources: the maker's own site, its pricing and refund terms, its changelog, its support forum, counted complaints across recent public reviews, and a like-for-like comparison against the nearest alternatives. We never claim experience we do not have.

Which badge a page carries is enforced in the site build, not just in editing. A page cannot use first-hand language unless it has declared itself a real-use review, so the badge and the writing cannot drift apart. The full method

You pay exactly what you would pay going direct. The maker pays us a share of their margin, not a surcharge on you.

We are never paid for a positive verdict, no maker sees a review before it publishes, and we publish verdicts recommending against products we could earn from. Commission rates never influence which products we cover or how we rank them. Full disclosure

Independent comparison. We are an affiliate of some platforms named here. We do not speak for HighLevel, and nothing on this page is an official statement by any of them. Figures come from each maker's own published pages on the date shown, and we correct them when they change.

The short version

  • Stripe is the only native card processor. There is no native PayPal for general checkout.
  • The ad platform integrations are the strongest part: Facebook, Google and TikTok lead ads all flow in natively.
  • Webhooks are free and remove the repeated polling that consumes API limits. Zapier costs money and adds latency.
  • A short integration list is the point of an all-in-one, not a failure of one.

Notice what dominates that list: advertising. Facebook, Google and TikTok lead ads, plus the Facebook Conversions API, are all first-class. That is not an accident. The platform is built for agencies running paid acquisition for local businesses, and the integration list is a fair map of who it is for.

The one payment processor

Stripeis the native card processor, and effectively the only one. There is a documented framework for building a custom payment provider, which is a developer project rather than a setting.HighLevel help centre, checked 3 September 2026

For most businesses this is a non-issue, because Stripe is where they already are. It becomes a real problem in two situations, and both are worth checking before you commit.

The first is geography. Stripe is not available in every country, and if it is not available in yours, the platform's payment features are largely closed to you. The second is an existing merchant account you cannot move, which is common in higher-risk categories where switching processor is not a matter of preference.

The escape hatch is real but it is engineering: HighLevel documents how to build a custom payments integration on the platform. That is a developer project with ongoing maintenance, not an afternoon, and it needs the API access covered on the API page.

Zapier and webhooks

Three ways to connect something that is not on the list
RouteCostRight when
WebhooksFreeThe other tool can receive or send a webhook. Fastest and cheapest, and the option people skip
ZapierIts own subscription, per taskNeither side speaks the other’s language and you want it working today
v2 APIFree, subject to rate limitsYou have a developer and the logic is more than a field mapping

The order of that table is the order to try things in, and most people reverse it. They reach for Zapier first because it is familiar, then pay per task forever for something a webhook would have done for nothing.

Zapier earns its place when the other tool has no webhook support, when you need branching logic without writing code, or when the integration has to exist before Friday. It costs money, adds a hop of latency, and gives you a third system to debug when something silently stops firing.

What is missing

Things people look for and do not find natively
Looking forThe position
PayPal as a general checkout optionNot a native processor for the main checkout. Stripe is the path.
XeroQuickBooks is the native accounting integration. Xero goes via Zapier.
Slack or Microsoft Teams notificationsWebhooks, which both accept, so this is straightforward.
Mailchimp or ActiveCampaignNot integrated, by design. The platform is replacing them, not syncing with them.
Deep WordPress integrationForms embed on any site, but there is no plugin-grade integration. WordPress hosting is sold separately.
Zoom as a full calendar providerZoom attaches to bookings. Google and Outlook are the calendar sync.
The Mailchimp row is the one that reframes the rest. An all-in-one platform does not want to integrate with your email tool, it wants to be your email tool. Judging this integration list against a best-of-breed stack misunderstands what you are buying.

Does it matter?

Here is the honest test, and it is one question. List the tools you would refuse to give up. If they are Stripe, Facebook and Google, this platform integrates with everything you care about and the list is irrelevant. If they include a specific email platform, a specific scheduler and a specific proposal tool, then you do not want an all-in-one at all, and no amount of Zapier will make the shapes fit.

The second test is whether anyone on your team can write a webhook. If yes, the practical integration surface is much larger than the documented list. If no, budget for Zapier as a permanent line item rather than a temporary bridge.

For what the platform replaces outright rather than connects to, the what it is page has the list, and the full review covers where the replacements fall short of the tools they stand in for.

Check your must-have connects before you commit

The integrations settings are visible on the trial. If one specific tool decides this for you, connecting it is the first thing worth doing rather than the last.

ClickFunnels has a broader third-party ecosystem than either, because it has been around longer and more tools built for it. Fewer native connections, more people who have solved your problem already.

Common questions

What does GoHighLevel integrate with natively?

Stripe for payments, Facebook, Google and TikTok lead ads, Facebook Pages, Google Business Profile, Google Drive, Gmail, Outlook, Zoom, Shopify, QuickBooks, Jobber, ActiveProspect and WebinarKit. Anything else connects through Zapier, webhooks or the v2 API.

Does GoHighLevel integrate with PayPal?

Not as a native processor for the main checkout. Stripe is the supported card processor, and HighLevel documents a framework for building a custom payment provider, which is a development project rather than a setting you switch on.

Does GoHighLevel work with Zapier?

Yes, and it is the standard route for anything without a native integration. Try webhooks first, though: both HighLevel and most modern tools support them, they are free, and they push changes as they happen rather than adding a polling loop and a paid hop.

Can GoHighLevel connect to Mailchimp?

Not natively, and that is deliberate. The platform includes its own email marketing and is designed to replace tools like Mailchimp rather than sync with them. A Zapier bridge is possible but you would be paying twice for the same capability.

Does GoHighLevel integrate with QuickBooks?

Yes, natively, for invoice management. Xero is not natively supported and would need a Zapier connection or custom work through the API.

Are webhooks better than Zapier for GoHighLevel?

Usually. Webhooks are free and immediate, whereas Zapier charges per task and adds a hop that can fail silently. Zapier earns its cost when the other tool has no webhook support or you need branching logic without code.
